2024 Annual Children in the Arts Piano Competition/Concert
The City of Pompano Beach Children in the Arts Committee, in collaboration with the City of Pompano Beach and the Broward Teachers Music Association is pleased to announce the 2024 Annual Children in the Arts Piano Competition (Competition) on Saturday, March 2, 2024. This event includes live competition at 8:00AM and concert at 7:00PM.
For more than 27 years, between 80 - 150 young pianists from Broward County have participated in the Children in the Arts Piano Competition every year. Each competitor performs their memorized pieces before a panel of judges. The piano students compete in categories ranging from elementary to advanced.
The City of Pompano Beach invites all Broward County Music Teachers to enter their Students in the 2024 Annual Children in the Arts Piano Competition! The competition is open to the students of piano teachers who live in Broward County, Florida, teach students who live in Broward County, or are members of the Broward County Music Teachers Association (BCMTA). The postmarked deadline for applications is January 20, 2024.
