Through the voice of his niece, Anne Naves, the film weaves personal history with community memory, ensuring that this story is not forgotten. More than a retelling of events, RUBIN is about remembrance, resilience, and the importance of keeping local history alive. Following the screening, director Tenille Brown will join us for a conversation about the making of the film and the ways storytelling can help communities reflect, heal, and grow together.
