Join us as we celebrate the Black art form of Jazz in all it's glorious syncopations during our newest show, Jazz on the Boulevard! From standards to swing, bebop to fusion, some of South Florida’s best musicians are going to jam at the historic Ali Cultural Center. Once a famed hotel for entertainers in the 194Os to the 1960s,The Ali is now a stunning cultural venue, uniting the Northwest community through art, history, music and food, while creating bonds with residents and tourists from all around the globe.

Jazz on the Boulevard is proud to welcome internationally acclaimed vocalist Yvette Norwood-Tiger, who is also the founder of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival. Yvette’s vocal styling and texture is often compared to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. In addition to traditional jazz, her repertoire includes gospel, bebop, Latin jazz, classic songs from popular music, and arias of the great composers such as Puccini. She also performs songs in other languages which includes French, Italian, Portuguese, Xhosa, and Spanish. Her mission in music is to uplift, inspire, and heal the heart, mind and spirit of the listener.

Eddy Balzola and Oriente
Join us for Jazz on the Boulevard at Ali Cultural Arts Center as Eddy Balzola and Oriente take the stage to perform an exciting mix of Afro-Cuban Jazz, Blues and Rhythm-n-Soul. Eddy, a guitarist, composer and arranger was born in Guanabacoa, Cuba, known for its Afro-Cuban folklore and culture, and was deeply influenced by the elegant, melodic voice of his mother.
Raised in Miami Beach, he had the good fortune of studying music with exceptional teachers at Miami-Dade college. He began touring with a wide variety of bands and soon developed his signature sound - a melodic fusion of blues, jazz and soul seasoned with Afro-Cuban & Caribbean rhythms.
