From November through April, every second and fourth Saturday, the Pompano Beach Cultural Center transforms into a vibrant open-air market filled with the sights, sounds, and scents of South Florida’s finest local offerings.
Presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society and the City of Pompano Beach, this beloved market is more than just a shopping trip—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and culture. Whether you’re a longtime resident or just visiting, you’ll find yourself captivated by the friendly atmosphere and the abundance of local treasures waiting to be discovered.
A Feast for the Senses
At the Green Market, you’ll find an incredible variety of locally sourced goods. Stock up on farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal baked goods, and refreshing cold-pressed juices. Sample local honey and fresh seafood, or pick up a bouquet of exotic orchids to brighten your home. Every vendor brings something special, ensuring that each market day offers new tastes and surprises.
But the experience goes beyond food! Shoppers can browse through booths filled with handmade crafts, unique jewelry, natural wellness products, and local art. Fun for the Whole Family
The Green Market is designed to be a family-friendly experience from start to finish. Start your day with Free Yoga on the Lawn from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, led by the inspiring instructor Nzingah Oniwosan. At 10:00 AM, kids can get creative with free crafts, while parents continue to shop and enjoy the lively energy of the market.
Then, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the fun continues with a Family Cultural Dance Sampler hosted by the instructors of Ashanti Cultural Arts. This engaging, one-hour session features a cultural heritage presentation and a dynamic, instructor-led dance class that will have the whole family moving!
Throughout the morning, DJ Trish keeps the atmosphere upbeat with music that perfectly complements the joyful community vibe.
