Celebrate the season with a powerful and inspiring theatrical experience as Black Nativity takes the stage at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center from November 27–29.

Based on the celebrated work of acclaimed poet and playwright Langston Hughes, this extraordinary production brings the Nativity story to life through an African-American cultural perspective. Featuring vibrant African-inspired costumes, stirring gospel music, and uplifting spirituals, Black Nativity follows Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem in a moving celebration of faith, heritage, and tradition.

With four performances throughout the weekend, this unforgettable production offers a meaningful way to begin the holiday season.

Light Up MLK for the Holidays | November 28

The holiday spirit shines bright on November 28 from 5–8 PM as Light Up MLK transforms Annie Adderly Gillis Park into a festive celebration of community, creativity, and joy!

Presented by Pompano Beach Arts, this FREE, family-friendly event brings the MLK corridor alive with live entertainment, delicious food, games, giveaways, and holiday excitement. The highlight of the evening is the ceremonial lighting, illuminating the neighborhood and officially welcoming the holiday season.

Old Town Untapped Tree Lighting | December 4

Downtown Pompano Beach gets a festive makeover on December 4 from 6–10 PM when Old Town Untapped celebrates the season with a special holiday edition featuring Waist to Chest: A Christmas Spectacular.

This lively, FREE block party combines the best of art, music, food, and holiday cheer. Enjoy a unique Christmas-inspired surf music performance by Waist to Chest, an offshoot of Girlfriend Material, bringing a fresh and energetic twist to familiar seasonal sounds.

Explore art exhibitions at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, shop creations by local artists, enjoy delicious food truck offerings, and experience the excitement of Downtown Pompano Beach. It's the perfect way to celebrate the holidays with friends and neighbors!

Green Market Holiday Edition | December 12

Wrap up your holiday shopping with a local twist at the Green Market Holiday Edition on December 12 from 9 AM–1 PM!

Discover a festive marketplace filled with fresh produce, handmade gifts, artisan crafts, delicious baked goods, locally sourced specialties, and unique treasures perfect for everyone on your holiday list.

The morning also features donation-based indoor yoga from 9–10 AM, children's crafts from 10 AM–noon, and lively music by DJ Trish.
