About the Instructor

Joshua Buron is a seasoned poet and storyteller who has performed at prestigious venues such as the Adrienne Arsht Center, the Lowe Art Museum, and the Pérez Art Museum. His self-published photo and poetry book, Good Jeans & Brown Suga, captures the essence of identity and culture through powerful imagery and verse.

Joshua’s written works have also been featured in Axis, the creative magazine of Miami Dade College, pushing the boundaries of literary expression. An experienced host of open mics, including events at his local library, and a curator of art shows, Joshua has created spaces for artistic exchange and community building. He has also co-conducted a journaling workshop, sharing his passion for reflective writing with others.

Currently, he runs a blog where he publishes poetry and short stories inspired by his original comic series, Everything and Mo. His work blends visual and literary arts into a unique narrative experience.
