Hillsboro Inlet Painted Pompano Sculpture

LOCATION: Roy L. Rogers Family Park, 2700 N Ocean Blvd, Pompano Beach
The City is looking to commission an artist located in the Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties for a work for hire project to design and fabricate that design on a Painted Pompano fish sculpture. The pompano fish is the City’s namesake and a symbol of the identity of Pompano residents. Once completed, the sculpture will be placed at Hillsboro Inlet Park, 2700 N Ocean Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. The Painted Pompano sculpture will be individualized by the artist. The theme for the design is Pompano Beach’s Shipwreck Park and Wahoo Bay, scuba diving, boating, marine life, and ecosystem awareness. An anti-graffiti and UV Resistant Coating must be applied. All applications must be submitted on the provided template and materials must also be listed.

Abstract & Non-Representational Mural Call to Artists

The City of Pompano Beach will commission an artist/artist team for a work for hire project for the design and installation of a mural located on the west exterior wall at 1591 E. Atlantic Blvd.
