Infinity

Infinity

By Volkan Alkanoglu

“Infinity” is a fluid, continuous form that speaks to movement, optimism, and collective possibility. Through its aerodynamic geometry and luminous iridescent surface, Volkan Alkanoglu creates a sculpture that appears in constant transformation, shifting with light, atmosphere, and the presence of the viewer. Positioned between object, architecture, and play, the work invites physical and social engagement while reflecting on the evolving nature of public space. “Infinity” proposes the future not as a distant ideal, but as something shaped through participation, imagination, and shared experience. The sculpture is made out of fiberglass with automotive paint.

Volkan Alkanoglu works at the intersection of art and design. Born in Turkey and raised in Germany, Alkanoglu attended the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf and Hochschule der Künste in Berlin before receiving a Master of Architectural Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London.
