Our mission is clear: to bring the transformative power of art to people of all ages and backgrounds through engaging exhibits, comprehensive education programs, and community outreach. Broward Art Guild has been at the heart of the creative landscape of Broward County, Florida since 1950, formally incorporating as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1968. Our organization has been a beacon of artistic expression for over half a century, serving as a hub for local artists, providing them with opportunities to showcase their work, network with fellow creatives, develop professionally, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of Broward County. At almost 300 members (by the way, you don’t have to be an artist to be a member!), we are the largest and longest-running association of working artists in Broward County.

We believe that art plays a crucial role in cultural exchange and social connection, resulting in a more inclusive and resilient society. We harness the power of art to enrich lives by building a sense of pride within our community, supporting greater social cohesion and empathy, empowering individuals to actively participate in shaping their community, all while contributing to the economic vitality and sustainability of Broward County. At the core of our organization are our dynamic exhibits, showcasing diverse artists and inviting audiences to discover new perspectives. From traditional paintings to innovative installations, our gallery serves as a platform for expression for all in the community including artists and audiences of seniors, youth, LBGTQ+, those individuals with disabilities, and all ethnicities and identities. And our commitment to the community extends beyond our gallery walls. Through outreach initiatives, such as youth art competitions and on-site workshops, we strive not only to nurture the next generation of diverse artists, but also to make art accessible to all. These programs provide artistic enrichment and foster social connections and well-being.
