Rooted In Nature Art Exhibition

For more than 30 years, Christina Prezzemolo has been painting the world around her, inspired by the beauty of nature and the ways people are connected to it. Rooted in Nature brings together her watercolors, oils, many of which are created with materials she makes herself. From pigments extracted from plants in her own garden to handmade papers crafted from natural fibers and recycled paper, her art begins long before the brush touches the surface.

For Prezzemolo, art is a complete circle, planting seeds, nurturing growth, creating her materials, painting and layering, and finally sharing it with others. Her work is an invitation to slow down, look closely, and rediscover the joy that comes from being rooted in the earth.
