Christina Prezzemolo
Christina Prezzemolo is a painter and educator who draws inspiration from the quiet beauty of the natural world. With over 30 years of experience, she works in a variety of mediums, including watercolor, oil, pastels, murals, printmaking, mosaics, and live painting. Christina values sustainable and historical practices, creating her own pigments from plants and making paper from the natural fibers that she grows and forages.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Art with a minor in Art History from Florida State University and has been refining her craft ever since. Her goal is to revive historical painting techniques and ancient methods of collecting art materials.
Through her art and teaching, Christina encourages others to slow down, observe closely, and reconnect with the natural world. Her work is a heartfelt reflection of light, color, and the quiet magic found in everyday nature.
Mark Espinosa
Mark Espinosa is a Filipino American multidisciplinary artist who explores the intersections of expanded animation, music, poetry, choreography, and sleight of hand. By weaving these diverse forms together, he creates spaces where art serves as a gentle call for compassion and collective transformation. Through themes of dreams, reality, and the spaces in between, Mark examines the subtle forces that fracture the human experience and responds with work that invites us to come closer together.
Georgeta Fondos
Georgeta Fondos is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in experimental textiles and mural art. Her textile practice explores the alchemy of material transformation, employing techniques such as scorching with flame. She embraces this process as a metaphor for the human condition, resilience, and inner change. Her work is featured in both public and private collections throughout South Florida, including the Girl's Club, the Coral Springs Museum of Art, and the NSU Art Museum. Georgeta's immersive textile installations have been exhibited at prominent venues such as FATVillage – The Projects, White Space, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, and the Coral Springs Museum of Art, among others. She has collaborated with notable curators and institutions, contributing to the evolving dialogue around contemporary textile art.
Georgeta is also well-known for her custom mural designs and large-scale public art murals across South Florida. Her work can be found in public buildings, parks, museums, and private collections in Greece, Mexico, Moldova, Lithuania, Switzerland, and the United States.
She received her formal art education in both Europe and the United States, earning a Bachelor's degree in Textile Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Moldova. She later received a Post-Graduate Study Scholarship in Greece and earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Florida Atlantic University in 2008..
Claudette Goico Šernius
Claudette Goico Šernius is a Dominican artist based in South Florida, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History from Florida International University. Her studies deepened her understanding of art’s cultural impact and its ability to amplify unheard voices. Through painting, sculpture, and community engagement, her work aims to empower, educate, and foster meaningful connections within the community. Her recent work, Unfinished Stories, focuses on raising awareness about human trafficking, using visual storytelling to spark dialogue and inspire change.
Claudette is an award-winning artist and two-time recipient of the Broward County Artist Support Grant, her work has been featured in Panku Magazine and exhibited at the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery, Sunrise Civic Center, the Wolfsonian Museum, and Laundromat Art Space. She is currently an artist-in-residence at Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA).

Jed-Lee Metayer
Jed-Lee Metayer is a self-taught artist who turned to painting as a form of therapy after losing his father during the pandemic. In a society that often denies men safe spaces for emotional expression, the canvas became his sanctuary. Through Metayer’s art, he has created a space where emotions can be released, processed, and transformed—a powerful testament to creativity as a tool for healing.
Metayer visually explores the process of breaking cycles of trauma using solid circles of color or negative space, intentionally avoiding symbols or patterns. Central to his artistic language is the spiral, which symbolizes birth, rebirth, and the non-linear path of healing. In a world overwhelmed by distraction, trauma, and outrage, his work invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.
Sarah Rocca
Art has always been Sarah Rocca’s means of exploring the complexities of the human mind. Committed to mental health awareness, her practice focuses on self-portraiture as a form of visual storytelling. As a fine art photographer, she fluidly transitions between digital, drone, and instant formats, choosing the tools that best serve her vision.
Rocca's work has been exhibited internationally in group shows, featured in a solo exhibition at the Panopticon Gallery in Boston, and showcased on a Times Square billboard in New York City through Art Square New York..
Liv Cook
Liv Cook is a portrait artist based in South Florida, originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Her artistic journey began with 13 years of classical ballet, instilling in her a deep appreciation for the expressive power of the human body. In 2022, after attending makeup and esthetician school, she became intrigued by portraiture.
Starting with abstract representations, Cook evolved her style into realistic portraiture, blending makeup techniques with painting to create dynamic compositions. Her self-portraits have developed into a meditative exploration of identity and vulnerability, influenced by the queer and alternative art scenes of the 1970s to 1990s.
Since 2024, she has exhibited her work in South Florida and received her first artist support grant in 2025 for her debut solo show, "Look What I Made," featuring eleven South Florida-based artists. Through her work, Cook celebrates authenticity and the narrative of self.

Mikael Semexant
Mikael Semexant is a self-taught Haitian-American artist based in South Florida, specializing in oil painting and drawing. Through his artwork, he aims to express the universal experiences of connection, community, and intimacy. His pieces often depict real-life moments inspired by his own experiences in a close-knit and nurturing family and community environment. The scenes in his artwork reflect moments of tenderness and care shared between loved ones.

Louiveste La Croix
Louiveste La Croix is an artist born in Haiti and currently based in South Florida. His artwork is a unique combination of multimedia techniques, gestural figures, and abstract color schemes that captivate viewers. He studied Fine Art at Broward College and has exhibited his work internationally, including at Escape2NY in Brooklyn, NY (2022), Moves Love Miami in Wynwood, FL (2021), and A Night for the Culture Juneteenth Art Show in Los Angeles, CA (2021). His latest work was showcased in Cosmic Ledger at 1310 Gallery in Fort Lauderdale in 2023.
La Croix uses his art to convey messages of spiritual awareness, unity, and consciousness through natural elements while also paying tribute to historical roots to promote conscious evolution. He believes that true artistry comes from taking risks and doing something that has never been done before, as well as expressing oneself authentically.
