A FORMAL PRE-APPLICATION MEETING IS REQUIRED FOR MAJOR SITE PLAN AND MAJOR BUILDING DESIGN APPLICATIONS. IF YOU HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR A PRE-APPLICATION MEETING YET, CLICK HERE.
After the pre-application meeting (if required), you must provide an original paper application for your initial submittal to the DRC. If you have already submitted a paper application and the information on that application has not changed, you may use the eForm to submit for additional reviews by clicking here.
Site Plan and Building Design Application
On the application, be sure that the owner’s name matches what is on file with Broward County by searching the parcel on the Broward County Property Appraiser’s website BCPA.net. The individual who signs on behalf of the owner must be a the highest level Authorized Agent, as indicated on the Division of Corporations website, sunbiz.org.
All signatures must be original and only a complete submittal package will be accepted. No plans should be submitted at this time, as they will be uploaded to ePlan after the project is created.
For a site plan, provide the following:
- Application Packet:
- Application
- Owner's Certificate
- NPDES Stormwater Permit Program Affidavit
- A check for the application fee
- Electronic Signature Affidavits for:
- Surveyor
- Architect
- Landscape Architect
- Engineer
If a digital signature with third-party verification is used, no affidavit is needed. If your assigned project planner has initialed the Plans Checklist so that you do not have to provide all of the plans, provide that at the time of submission as well.
